Fox News, Fair & Balanced?

Well the ha, ha, fair and balanced news network is at it again! A white Catholic preacher who spoke at Chicago's Trinity Church during his sermon last Sunday made headlines and breaking news on Fox for his comments about Hillary. He demonstrated that she cannot accept a black guy is winning the race and that she should win because she's white! So Fox news is replaying and replaying the piece and placed it on their home page on their website as breaking news.
Well guess what? The preacher is right, Hillary is having a problem that Barack is winning and has inferred that she can do better because she's white.
So Fox is having a problem with the truth like always. As if the preacher is somehow a demon for telling the truth. I guess you have to be a republican to understand this.
Its like my son-in-law, a die hard republican who sent me racist stupid emails about Barack several times and I never got mad but after receiving the last one I got even by turning he email into a Bush/McCain comeback.
Well he got the email and sent me a note that he has blocked me as a sender. I guess its ok to dish it out but like most republicans can't take it!

The White Working Class Buzz

The media talks often about the white working class in reference to Barack Obama and his ability to win enough voters in November. First, there are many white working class people who won't necessarily admit it, but would pick a white over a black period. In this politically correct world we live in, most people would be afraid to say this publicly.

Second, where Obama does not do well is in the southern states which are more prone to dislike blacks to begin with. Some of these people think the south will rise again. Some may not like hearing this, but if you don't live in a cave you know this is true.

Third, he does well in urban areas which are generally democratic and does not do well in rural areas which are republican. Now you don't need to be a political analysis to figure this out. Its this simple.

Now if you were to remove the Clinton factor which those experts seem to never think of, Barack would suddenly have a much higher number of voters in his corner. And to assume that they all would defect to McCain is nuts. If you really are a demo, you will vote a demo because you believe in their principles.

So what does all this mean? Obama first needs to win his party's endorsement which it seems he will. Once the dust settles, then he needs to connect with democratic base and it looks like its bigger then ever. The media never seems to bring this up but the voter counts are right on the screen. The democrats are getting twice the votes the republicans are.

This spells bad news for the republicans come November and they know it. The people have finally begun to wake up! But the right wing will do everything and anything to win.

I believe Bush cut a backroom deal with his oil friends the Arabs. Come election time you watch the gas prices drop at the pump. Their hoping we'll forget how they screwed us for so long, and don't be surprised if we attack Iran somehow. Its all part of the plan to retain power.

Proud Of My Country

I guess the republicans are proud of their country even though they are running it into the ground everyday. I think what they are really proud of is they think they are better than everyone else. Or maybe they are proud of the power they have had over our country for the last six years.
Proud that they sent our young people into a war based on lies and scare tactics. Proud they are spending $11 billion per month and borrowing the money. Proud that the top 2% are getting their tax breaks so they can add to their already outrageous wealth. After all, they need the money to buy another estate to add to their collection while other Americans are losing their only home.

Meanwhile Fox News is still running the story of Michelle Obama for months now who stated: "for first time in my adult lifetime I'm proud of my country" when referring to the fact of how proud she was of her husband running for president.

I guess its OK if McCain or Bush or Rice misspeaks as long as you are a republican. And Fox News states they are "fair & balanced". What A Joke! Why haven't I seen the same attention given to the misspoken quotes by McCain that they love to give to Obama's wife?

Weak On Security

The republicans have been running on security for a long time now. They tell us we're safe as long as they are in control, but are we?

Let me pose some questions to you and ask yourself which party is responsible:

Who was told months before 9/11 that terrorists would try to use planes to hit our buildings but did nothing in response to these warnings?

Who decided to attack a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 using info from an unreliable source while ignoring Intel from its own agencies stating there was no proof that weapons of mass destruction existed but invaded that country anyway?

Who decided to fund this invasion with money borrowed from China while giving the top 2% a tax break? Does anyone care that our kids will be struck with this ever growing bill?

Who was in charge of our congress and presidency when North Korea announced their nuclear weapons?

Who directed our efforts to Iraq and ignored Pakistan where Al Queda has its home and there are nuclear weapons?

Who allowed the Bin Laden family to leave this country right after 9/11 on our military planes?

If you aren't brain dead you know our current administration is the answer to all of the questions. Now how does this add up to the republican party keeping us safe? Better yet, how does the democratic party make us weaker or unsafe when they haven't had a chance to control things in the first place.

I hope we are waking up to reality and not falling for the scare tactics of old. Remember John Kennedy and the Cuba missile crisis? Was this an example of Democratics being weak on security when we were on the brink of nuclear war and Kennedy told the Russians to remove their missles or else?

My friends, as John McCain likes to say, who is really weak on security after all the mistakes made by the republican controlled government. Is starting a war all it takes to get you to think this is how we are strong on security? Even if its wrong?

You comments are welcome,
