What Is John McCain Really Offering Us?

John McCain is running to win and he is saying that Barrack will raise your taxes. Of course John is talking to all his wealthy friends when he says this. He says he will not raise taxes which means his wealthy friends won't see an increase.

He says Barrack is going to spend trillions and McCain won't spend anything and cut our taxes. Barrack wants to spend money creating two programs which will create jobs. One is the industry of inter structure; new roads, bridges, sewers, high speed Internet and more. Two is the industry which will change our energy to solar, wind, natural gas and more.

McCain says he will also do this but without any money! Neat trick if you could really do it. McCain says he will lower everyone taxes. Sound good but wait till you see how! Kiss your social security, Medicare, and countless other programs goodbye as you know them. He says he will cut all these benefits our government provides.

This is typical republican and McCain calls it "Change". There are many right wing voters out there that like this way of thinking. Make it on your own like they did is their policy. Well I will admit it worked for them but what about all the other Americans who did not have the fortune of seeing this reality?

I guess us Democrats just care too much about others. Others like our elders who need assistance to survive. Others who can't afford health care, college and a place to live. What's really crazy to me is republicans seem to care more about everyone but us. Like Iraq for example; rebuilding their schools, hospitals, businesses, etc.

Some of us want to put America first. Barrack Obama is all about America first. McCain is all about making the wealthy first.

What Is Socialism?

There is lots of talk these days about socialism coming from the McCain camp. According to the dictionary, socialism is: "Any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods".

Because Barrack Obama wants to restructure our tax so the top 2% pay about 2% more and then provide tax cuts to the lower income levels from where they are is not socialism. It is simply modifying our tax structure. To some this is leading our country toward socialism.

Taking ownership of banks which the Bush administration has recently done is closer to real socialism then changing the tax code. Universal health care can also be considered a socialistic program like social security or medicare, a change in policy which leans toward socialism.

The main point is the republican party has always been against social programs period. Unless you fall into the top two percent, you are on your own if it were up to the republicans. Unless you have lived under a rock the last eight years, this should be clear to you.

So when Joe The Plumber says he supports republican policy, he is supporting the belief that there should not be social security, instead we should find our own retirement plans. He does not believe in medicare, we again should find our own medical insurance on the market. He believes that any public program which benefits anyone should not be funded by our government or we the tax payers.

Therefore, if all these beliefs became reality, we would pay little or no tax. So now we, the middle class would have this extra $100-$300 per week added to our income. That's amounts to about $8,000 a year extra. Health insurance alone costs $12,000 and up. Some of us would invest our retirement into stocks of which 401K's have lost 40% of their value recently.

If you wanted to start a business, there would be no low interest loans to start with. Meanwhile, other countries are providing their citizens with all these benefits while we just fund our military, based on republican policy.

I suggest you really think carefully before supporting this "no social programs idea". The McCain camp has drilled the idea into your head that all this is bad and taxes are bad as well. But look around you at all the things we have thanks to our taxes. We have police, roads, lights, parks, to mention a few. Retirement and medical money for our elders, many of which depend on for income and health issues.

So this evil word "socialism" in itself might seem to us the worst thing that can happen, yet social programs that serve us as a nation can be a great benefit if our government uses and spend our money wisely.

This is the key; the problem isn't really social programs, it's the purpose of the program and how it is managed that matters. Social security is a great example of a program that works. We need to strive for this as a solution, not reject the idea of any kind of government involvement. We all will have a better country in the outcome if our government operates with us in mind, not the top 2% only.

Barrack Obama has pledged that he will work for us. Yes he wants to create a national health plan. Here is my question to you: Why would you not want to see all Americans covered? Is it because some of us don't count? Is it because some shouldn't matter to us? Is it because you just want to keep all your money like Joe The Plumber does and the hell with the rest of us? Is it because you believe some of us are not Americans?

Remember our parents and grand parents worked all their lives to provide us with a better tomorrow. I believe we should all work to leave our kids with a better tomorrow. By the way, you just can't take all those toys with you when your times up.

Most important, leaving your children with this ever growing huge bill our country has created, leaving children without health care, leaving elders without any income just so you and I can have less taxes is just not the right thing to do, especially if your a Christian like many of you are.

Michele Bachmann Of Minnesota

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann of the 6th district from Minnesota was on Hardball with Chris Matthews and asked about the connection with Barrack Obama and terrorists. She was given a lot of airtime explaining her radical beliefs and summed up stating that if you are liberal you're anti-American and support terrorists and the media should investigate members of Congress who are liberals. Watch the clip at this link: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032553

I, as many fellow Minnesotans are simply ashamed to admit that this "flag waving bitch" is from our state. This is another way of saying "you're either with us or against us". This is another example of a radical extreme republican trying to dividing us into two groups, good and bad Americans.

I find it amazing how this over the top "piece of crap", who calls herself a congresswoman can make statements like this. I guess it's freedom of speech, but from someone who represents a whole district of voters? I wonder if the people of her district agree with this? I'm sure there are a few, but only a few.

Well Michele, this anti American who supports terrorism (by your defination of liberal) is going to vote for Barrack Obama as will many others in this country not because we are who you say we are, but because the real issues are what really matters to us, not your insulting hate talk!

Spreading The Wealth

Ever since Barrack Obama told Joe The Plumber that he wants to spread the wealth, McCain has been using that quote at his rallies. What John McCain isn't saying is that we have been spreading the wealth to the top two percent over the last eight years. To refresh your memory, George Bush provided tax cuts to the highest income bracket or the top two percent. This was going to create jobs and give all of us more wealth according to Bush.

This my friends is also "Spreading The Wealth". Obama wants give 95% or those who make less then $250,000 a tax cut by put the top two percent back to the level it was before George Bush changed it. Again it is spreading the wealth restructured to benefit the middle class.

John McCain wants to continue Bush's tax policy. He also want to tax health benefits and freeze spending. This means no more cost of living increases for those on social security. This means cuts to medicare and more. You never hear John McCain mention the middle class. By now you should know who he really represents, it sure ain't the middle class.

Yet with all these facts, many of you who are the middle class want to vote for him anyway. Somehow you believe that the answer is smaller government and no taxes. Whats crazy is that government is why you get a social security check, and government is why you have roads and schools, government is why you have many things you take for granted.

You have this fear that the left will spend and tax. Have you forgotten that it was your party, the republican party and your president who have been in power for the last eight years? It's your party who got us to invade a country that was not the real enemy that attacked us. It was your party that has borrowed money to pay for it while allowing the top 2% to get larger tax cuts. It was your party that deregulated industries which have ruined our economy.

Your fear should be a continuation of this madness. Yet now you somehow have decided that the last eight years was the result of some other party other then the one you support. I call this denial and until you can admit it, you will continue to support the republican party.

Joe The Plumber

This guy Joe The Plumber that McCain repeatedly mentioned during the 3rd debate turns out to be "Joe The Jerk". Last year his income was $20,000 and according to county records has a tax lean from 2007 for $1100. And this guy is going to buy a business? Good Luck Joe. Maybe McCain's wife can give you a loan? She's got $100 million sitting around somewhere in one of her eight mansions.

Under Obama's tax plan Joe would gain $500 in tax benefits which I'm sure is enough to get his plumbing business off the ground. McCain said this guy is rich? Duh! Meanwhile I get a call from a lady today telling me she's from the RNC. She then states that Barrack is a terrorist and has friends like Bill Aires who are blowing up America.

At this point I cut her off, told her she was a liar and found her statement unethical, then hung up. The phone number taken from my caller ID is: 866-558-2875. Don't try it, it's a call center employed by the RNC. It's nice to know they finally are talking about real issues; Ya Right!

So Mr. Straight Talk Express is using call centers to work the battle ground states with more offensive attacks on Obama. I guess this is McCain's new economic plan. I sure didn't hear one during the debate.

Tonight McCain Shows His True Colors

When McCain congratulated "Joe The Plumber" for getting rich, he showed his true colors. He's all about the rich! Thank you for making that clear John.

Women on the other hand seem to be unimportant especially when it comes to their health during a pregnancy according to McCain. And now we have gone from Joe Six Pack to Joe The Plumber. Now this is real progress for the American people as we face a depression.

I rest my case,

The Real John McCain Story

Again, John McCain is going to reinvent himself. Now it appears he is attempting to focus on our economy. This follows weeks of attacks on Obama's character which seems to have not helped him in the polls.

Unfortunately McCain campaign staff are who they are. A bunch of fanatics that claim they are Christians yet they preach war, hate, and divide. I guess when you start your own religion anything goes. Like the preacher on the airwaves this weekend praying for McCain to win so other religions in the world somehow won't win in some way.

I can't understand how a preacher can preach racist remarks and claim to be a Christian yet somehow it happens. This all goes back to my earlier remarks that there are a lot of dumb people out there who buy all this. Like the lady from Minnesota who thinks Barrack is an Arab. Just saying he's an Arab is racist in itself, as if to say something is wrong with all Arabs.

This is the mindset of the republican party. White people must rule! I'm a white guy who doesn't see things this way. I guess I really believe what I was taught as a Catholic. All men are created equal. Love thy neighbor as you love yourself. The republican party knows that this racial divide exists and they play to their base. The weak minded who fear those who are "not like us".

But the truth behind all this is the republican power structure is not really behind those who support them. Their supporters are just tokens to get the power they desire so the powerful and wealthy can rule. This is what it's all about; so now you know the real story behind what comes out of the McCain campaign.

You Gotta Love Those Spin Doctors

Last night the non-partisan report came out finding Sara Palin guilty of breaking Alaska's ethic law by attempting to get her sister's ex-husband fired. She did however have the right to fire the safety director for any reason. What she did wrong states that she is not allowed to use her office as governor to carry out personal agendas like she did.

This morning the republican spin doctors were on the networks creating their own results. First they say the commission was made up of Obama supporters. Fact: When the commission was formed, Palin was not even known by anyone as a VP pick. The commission was made up of 10 republican and 4 democratic lawmakers from Alaska. How does this equal Obama supporters?

Next the spin doctors said she was vindicated. Fact: She broke Alaska's ethic law so how is this vindicated? They go on to say that the ex-husband, a state trooper should of been fired for various reasons. Fact: The report states that none of the reasons Palin was using to get him fired were justified, instead the report states they were using these reasons as cover to hide the fact that they (Palin, her husband and other supporters) were trying to get him fired.

So like always, the republicans, the party of liars and racists go on with there spin machine hoping their supporters remain stupid and hateful enough to get their vote. I just love how even when the facts are right in their face they manage to ignore reality and go off into their world of make believe.

Breaking News: The Real McCain Appears!

This afternoon in Minnesota the real John McCain showed up at his rally. He told his supporters that he wants to be president, then he preceded to tell them that they should not be afraid of Obama as their president for he is a decent man! The crowd did not like hearing the truth and reacted with a negative response.

In a daily decline in the polls, John McCain finally realized that his attacks of Barrack's character have created a backlash and he needed to come clean with the American people. Ever since his campaign decided to use the slime tactics of George Bush and company, McCain has seemed torn over what he was feeling and what was being said.

As of late, McCain/Palin supporters have gotten more and more radical in their shouts leading to many accusing the republican candidates for inciting hate and even possible domestic terrorism. Pat Buchanan on HardBall tonight after getting pressured by Chris Matthews summed up by saying: Barrack Is Not One Of Us! Now if this is not racial, what is?

So this comes to the main point of the attacks. The republicans are racists! It is that simple, they and their supporters are racists. I challenge anyone to disagree with this! McCain's people saw that they couldn't win on the issues, so they resorted to dividing the voters playing the race card. I have said this before and now Buchanan has proved I was right.

I really don't know what McCain plans to do next. He has proven that from day to day he can change his position on many issues. I just got to give him credit for coming clean with all of us about who Barrack Obama really is. Now his supporters need to come clean and admit the are racists or just plain wrong. Unfortunately, Pat Buchanan has also come clean and admitted his is a Racist.

Who Is Sara Palin?

We are hearing McCain and Palin asking "who is Barrack Obama? But the media should be asking "who is Sara Palin? Palin and her husband belong to a party that has been trying to annex Alaska from the United States.

Don't take my word for it, visit the "Alaskan Independence Party's website below and see for yourself! Now here is my question: Should we even consider electing a Vice President who is supporting this radical idea? Please give me your comments after you visit the website link provided below.

Is McCain A Racist?

The debate in the town hall forum was suppose to be John McCain's favored platform. He however performed poorly by wardering around and stumbling with his words. McCain seemed convinced that he was the only person to vote for and looked upset that he had to even try to compete. He also seemed angry at times to see Barrack outperform him on issues.

McCain acted as though he couldn't accept a half black young senator was even being considered by referring to him as "That One". The reference to Obama as "That One" also seemed to have a racial tone. As if to say how can you doubt my word against this black guy (who is half white by the way).

Republicans throughout recent history has been noted for remarks like this in various campaigns. They like to be portrayed as the good old boys, behind the scenes they want you to believe they represent white people. Publicly they love to portray democrats as the party of blacks. Republicans like to play on the racial divide that still exists in our society.

I hope the real issues we face are more important to you then the color of the person running for office. McCain is from the generation that has this racial issue embedded in them but I personally know many people his age and older who have put this historical American problem behind them when making important decisions.

Who Caused The Mortgage Crisis?

There is a lot of pointing going on over who is the cause of our economic meltdown. I believe we all share some of the blame. It's clear that the wealthy powerful banks created the largest part of this historical problem that is affecting the world markets.

Credit card companies (banks again) wrote their own laws and created a large part of our problem by providing easy credit to all of us, flooding us with deals weekly in the mail, then jacking up their rates for taking advantage of their offers. In most cases increasing the interest three times higher then the monthly payment. How they expected people to deal with this is beyond my understanding. But this is what greed can do.

The mortgage brokers played a large part by offering loans that they knew people would later not be able to repay once their interest rate went up. But they told their customers to refinance when the rates went up. This of course made some sense when the home values were rising.

And finally we the consumer are partly to blame for allowing ourselves to fall into these traps. If we would of listened to our elders and tried harder to live within our means, many of us would have reacted differently to these marketing themes designed to make powerful more wealthy.

Unfortunately the American public has been trained though various media methods to fall into these traps and the people who present these marketing schemes know it works. You can see this daily on your televisions with "paid advertising" 24 hours a day for example.

We all need to accept some responsibility for the mess were in. Maybe it is time for all of us to accept what our elders tried to teach us. We are in fact the most wasteful nation on earth. The is a direct reflection on our habit of relying on credit. We just buy something and throw away something else.

Years ago people would fix things, today we just buy something new instead. We see people waiting in line overnight to buy a new product. Our elders would think we were nuts and they're right!

Living within your means is not bad, it is the only thing that makes sense. If you don't need something and you don't have the money to buy it, then you shouldn't. In our current economic climate, we need to rethink our buying habits and stop helping the wealthy powerful forces who have put us in this lasting financial mess.

Keating Economics

John McCain wants you to forget about his role in our country's last major financial crisis and costly bailout: the savings and loan crisis of the late '80s and early '90s. But voters deserve to know that the failed philosophy and culture of corruption that created the savings and loan crisis then are alive in the current crisis and in John McCain's plans for our economic future.

Voters should know the facts about John McCain's poor judgment, judgment that has twice placed him on the wrong side of history.

Plain Is Failin

The ex-weather girl and beauty queen from Alaska who thinks she is better then others by her remarks as of late is no holy roller herself. She is currently under investigation in Alaska for alleging firing the state's safety director for personal gain. Her very own husband is more radical then her remarks about Obama. Her husband belonged (not palled around with, but belonged) to a group of radical extremists who tried to get Alaska removed from the United States! Now that's real patriotism!

How does a woman married to this radical guy get away with making theses remarks about Barrack without mention of her own husband's radical past? Its the media who is again being bias. They have for the last two days played over and over again her appearances slamming Barrack's character. I don't call this news, I call it promoting republican slime tactics!

The news media acts like they feel sorry or guilty toward her after weeks of reporting her lack of understand of the issues and policies of today. Maybe they just think she's hot and like her winks. But this election should and is about real issues, not "You Bet Ya" or "Gosh, Gee".

Millions of people are worried and sick over the real issues of the day and all we get from the media is this unpatriotic ex-weather girl over and over again. Enough News Media! Let's get back to the issues we the people care about!

The Abortion Issue Part 3

This is the final part of three postings on the abortion issue. Part one established that there are several beliefs as to when life begins based on religion and science. Part two established why I believe life begin at birth and anytime before is part of the creative process.

Now I want to talk about the right wing agenda. They believe they are right about life beginning at conception. Now this in itself is fine however their goal is to impose this belief on all of us by changing the law of the land. They intend to take away a woman's right to choose and make it a crime to have an abortion. Evangelicalism was created by people who questioned their church and its beliefs. The term "Evangelicalism" is a wide-reaching definitional "canopy" that covers a diverse number of Protestant groups.

Keep in mind they formed their own religions by picking and choosing what they decided to believe and not to believe. Now they want everyone else to be forced to accept their beliefs. They will tell you who to vote for so they can impose their will on everyone.

This is not how our country was founded or intended. Our country became a reality as a result of religious persecution in England. It was there that the Queen of England's religion was the rule of law. Our founders came to this land to escape this and form our diverse views of government which by design allowed all religions to flourish.

Now you got preachers on the right telling you how to vote so they can take control of this nation. Is this what you really want? To revert back to the way it was in England that got people to come to America to escape that way of life?

Well John McCain and Palin have made it clear that we will see that day if given the opportunity. They stand for the extreme right wing who will stop at nothing to get their way. This is not the kind of country I want to live in. I love America for what it represents today. Freedom from religious persecution and freedom for all. We don't need a group of radical right wing power happy people controlling us.

Barrack Obama and Joe Biden who represent the Democratic party will keep our rights as individuals. Please remember this when you enter that polling booth.

Aloha Mike

The Abortion Issue Part 2

Now to the second of a three part posting on the abortion issue. Part one established that there are several beliefs as to when life begins based on religion & science. Now let's examine some related definitions.

Born/Birth: "the emergence of a new individual from the body of its parent".
Birthday: " the day of a person's birth".
Creating: "to bring into existence".
Life: "the quality that distinguishes a vital and functional being from a dead body".
Pregnant: "containing a developing embryo, fetus, or unborn offspring within the body".

Now if we are alive at conception, then there should be no process for creating. Therefore the approximate nine months to produce a being should not exist. It does however exist and creating a new being is a process that ends when that being is born or dies somehow during that process. We emerge as a new individual only at the point when we are officially born. Religions such as Catholic which is the one I am familiar with believes we are alive upon conception. This belief is not derived from the word of God, nor is it written in the bible.

Religions have rewritten their laws throughout history in order to maintain their followers. At one time in Europe, it was a sin and you would got to hell if you didn't pay your taxes for the church was the government at the time. They did not have a civil society so they used sins as a way to govern people. I have concluded that life really does not begin until one is born and until you are born, you are in a creative process, not a living being.

This explains why it is not a crime to have an abortion by law. You of course may not agree with this based on your faith, but the Catholic religion once preached the world was flat and you were a sinner if you thought otherwise.

Everyone has a right to believe what they want but they don't have a right to impose their beliefs on others. This is were our laws come in. This is what keeps our society intact; laws. We should all repect each other and avoid imposing views on others. This is truly the Christian way of life. This you will find in the bible.

Aloha Mike

The Abortion Issue

I have been thinking about abortion and why people take sides with this issue. Let's look at some facts. I believe any religion including the Muslim faith are pro life. However, there seems to be a real problem as to when life begins. Many believe life begins at conception while others believe it begins when there is heart beat, and still others believe life begins at birth.

This is the first problem. We can't seem to agree on when life begins and everyone thinks their point view is the right one. Second, there is this stance that women should have the right to choose. Now to me this is like saying that I have a right to choose when to kill or not, but the problem again goes back to when does life begin? The main point is that no one should have a right to choose when to take a life but we can't agree on when that life officially begins.

In cases of rape or incense, I believe a woman should be allowed to abort for she is not responsible for this and the person who committed the crime should be held responsible for taking this life, that is if there is a life when the abortion occurs. Again we can't agree on when life begins.

So if all religions agree that it is wrong to take life, we need to someday agree on when life begins. Next, if it is wrong to take a life, all religions should agree on birth control. It makes no sense to say that sex is for reproduction only when it provides pleasure. However religions believe that this act should occur only when married. Again we cannot all agree with this thinking. It's wrong to abort but no birth control? This thinking of no birth control simply encourages abortions. I believe religions should rethink their stance on birth control. There are benefits using birth control which include the prevention of disease, population control (which is out of control in many countries) and of course less abortions. It's naive to believe that people should not have sex outside of marriage. Grant you, it may be a sin but reality and common sense should tell us people will sin so why not encourage birth control with discouraging sex out of wed lock?

So someday it would be nice to see all of us agree on when life really begins and agree that women should have a right to abort in cases of rape and incense placing that responsibility solely on the person who committed the crime and someday it would be nice to see all religions agree that birth control can benefit us instead of preaching that it is simply wrong thus reducing abortions.

Because there are people who believe different points of view on this issue, we will probably never see the day when abortions are put to rest. I don't believe this issue should be a political one for everyone who belong to a religion should agree that it is wrong to take a life. We need to come to an agreement as to when life begins. Only then can we establish when an abortion makes sense.

McCain/Palin Grow Desperate

John McCain & Sara Palin are growing desperate as the polls move toward Obama. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/polls/

Today in California, Palin told a crowd of supporters that Barrack pals around with terrorists. http://news.aol.com:80/elections/article/palin-says-obama-pals-with-terrorists/200425?icid=200100397x1210562408x1200608432

McCain who is sinking in the battleground states has nothing to offer the middle class except more of the same, so "all" he and his running mate have left is to attack and lie hoping they will fool enough of the public to change the election tide.

I can only hope by now the American voter has seen enough of the republican gutter politics and stay focused on the real issues that effect all of us. McCain says "Change Is Coming". He's right but what he also knows is Barrack Obama is the only one who will bring us the much needed change he is talking about.

Did you also notice how gas prices keep falling? We hear the reasons on the news but the real reason is the election is nearing. Just watch what happens when the election is over. Big oil wants the republicans to win so they too can win.

Meanwhile, Palin, his pit bull attack dog is out there telling us how Barrack is not fit to run our country. Talk about painting the kettle! Palin is clueless when it comes to dealing with our country. All she can do is deliver a speech that someone else writes for her. Get her alone with a reporter and she makes a fool of herself. Anybody with the energy resources like Alaska's can provide income to a state. This has been exactly what Barrack has wanted to do for our country. A win fall profit tax on oil which Alaska has but if you recall it was the republicans who told you it wouldn't work. They said that the oil companies would just raise prices.

You can read through the grin of Palin and her stupid talk and winks. She has nothing to offer us in real substance and McCain with his grin and "My Friends" quotes is letting out all the stops to win the election. They will say and do anything for they are desparate.

Just remember that they are the party of lies and more of the same. We have seen all this before when Bush ran. He and his friends lied to us just like McCain and Palin are doing. When McCain says "My Friends" it is not you and I he's referring to, it's the rich, wealthy people who have put us in the mess we are in today.

The Real Sara Palin Story

After last night's VP debate, everyone found Sara Palin had done better then expected. This is because everyone set the bar very low before it began. After watching her performance, she came off as someone who was picked up off the street and coached by experts as if this was some kind of reality show.

The polls today's show Joe Biden won the debate by a large margin. The girl from Alaska, who talks like a girl from Alaska, lacks real knowledge and tried to use her girl from Alaska talk to win over mainstream America. Well it didn't work for the average middle class person who watched her last night realized that she clearly is not what they want in a potental commander in chief.

Without the rehearsed lines, she has no real substance to be in the position of Vice President of our country. Media people noted that Joe Biden seemed somewhat confused during the first half of the debate regarding Palin. I believe he was saying to himself, you gotta be kidding! This is who McCain picked as his running mate?

Which now leads to the judgement of McCain as our commander in chief. His decision to pick Palin was made as a political ploy only with little if any thought beyond that. This is a repeat of George W. Bush who made most of his decisions putting the politics of winning above all when dealing with our country.

This is what Barrack and Joe means when they say "More Of The Same". John McCain is a candidate who will ruin this country just like Bush did, making decisions solely to benefit his political gain and not ours.
