I've always had a problem with the Evangelists and the way they operate. As of late, I'm having even more of a problem.
I get the impression that they create and modify the rules as they go. Let's take Sara Palin for example. They preach that it's a sin to have sex out of wedlock but they have rallied around her when they found her daughter was pregnant? This is just nuts; don't get pregnant for it's a sin but let's all be happy because their VP choice's daughter is to have her baby? They have completely road off the fact that she has sinned! This to me is modifying the rules to fit their life style.
Regardless of your religious beliefs, everyone should follow the ten commandments, not pick and choose the ones which work for you at the time. Evangelists should express their displeasure over the fact this girl is only seventeen and still in high school and unmarried having sex.
The Evangelists place all there fate in "live begins at conception", but let's look at what happens when this life is born. Evangelists are against universal health care, public schools, social security, etc. but they don't mind if they send these kids off to a war that was based on lies, some who get wounded and others who die.
True Christians have always believed in peace. I have seen these Evangelists on TV preaching that we need to attack and destroy countries because "they are the enemy". Last time I heard this was in the military, not in church! What happened to "Thou shall not kill"?
So to sum up, I'm beginning to believe that Evangelists care about you only before you are truly born, then you on your own and it's ok if you die if money is to be made in the process.
I think many of these Evangelists picked this "born again" option because is the eary way out with rules that are applied only when they decide they do.

My biggest problem with this religion and politics is the belief that they are on a Godly mission related to war. Not much different from what terrorists say. I'm sorry, but my God is a loving God. And he loves Muslim's, Jew's, Catholic's, Protestant's, Atheist's, and everything in between all the same! What's that quote? "Fighting for Peace is like Fornicating for Virginity."
